FAQ – Personal Injury Cases
Do I have a case even if I’m partly at fault?
You might. Texas follows a “modified comparative fault” rule. That means you can still recover compensation if you were less than 51% at fault. We’ll walk through what happened and explain where you stand.
How long do I have to file a personal injury claim in Texas?
In most cases, you have two years from the date of the accident. But the sooner you reach out, the better—we can preserve evidence and protect your rights from the start.
How much does it cost to hire you for an injury case?
We work on a contingency fee basis. That means you don’t pay us anything up front. We only get paid if we win your case or recover a settlement for you.
What if I already started talking to the insurance company?
That’s okay—but stop before signing anything or giving a recorded statement. Insurance adjusters work to protect their company, not you. We can take over communication and handle it from here.
Will I have to go to court?
Most personal injury cases settle without going to trial. But if the other side won’t play fair, we’re fully prepared to take your case to court and fight for what you deserve.
